Vintage 1970's glazed wicker lunchbox style basket purse by Etienne Aigner. The sturdy wicker has a nicely mellowed patina with leather trim & handle, and brass hardware. As with all Etienne Aigner products, this purse is very well made. Four brass feet on the bottom are attached with leather strips to the bottom of the purse. Brass studs hold all the leather trim to the straw structure. This is a stiff purse with a nice, wide opening. Leather strap handle is 15.5" or 39 cm. Lined with beige sailcloth fabric with an open slip pocket on the interior side wall. Dimensions are 10"W x 7"H x 3.25"D (25.5 cm x 18 cm x 8.5 cm). Excellent, clean condition.
