This is an extremely rare vintage 1950's, Etienne Aigner Nantucket style cane basket purse handbag with burgundy heavy leather trim with solid brass hardware. This wonderful basket purse is completely original. We did not clean the hardware as we wanted to preserve the wonderful look of the aged patina on the brass. There is one main compartment with no lining or interior pockets. All woven cane components are intact and without damage. The interior lid cover has the Etienne Aigner signature logo in gold imprinted and also the exterior brass hardware shows a small Aigner "A" logo. Excellent, clean condition. Dimensions are 10.75"W x 6.25"H x 8.5"D (27.5 cm x 16 cm x 21.5 cm). Handle length is 15" (38 cm) long.
