This gorgeous 1950's Switkes needlepoint romantic bag has a gold frame with adorable green rhinestones embedded in the kiss clasp closure. The faces of the the man and woman depicted on the bag are done in petit needlepoint surrounded by roses and iris in pretty pink, red, blue, and green. Both sides of the bag have identical needlepoint scenes. The side and bottom are done in matching color iris and roses needlepoint. The interior has pale peach faille fabric lining with three slip pocket. Original mirror is inside. The gold chain strap tucks away into the interior. The exterior is in mint condition with no stains or damage. The interior has a couple of very minor spots. Dimensions are 8"W x 5.75"H x 1.5"D. Drop of tuck-away handle is 5".
