Beautiful vintage 1950's Dorset Rex Fifth Avenue collectible Lucite handbag with stunning silver metal basket weave base. The top of the purse is black Lucite with a matching black Lucite handle. The body is shiny silver metal that is interwoven into a basket pattern. Original hook closure. Bottom of purse has four moulded metal protector feet. Inside the purse you will find a peach colored shiny satin lining with one side pocket. This handbag is in excellent condition with just a few minor scuffs from usual wear on the outside of the purse. No cracks or damage to this purse. Purse measures 8.75"W (22 cm) at the widest portion at the top of the purse and tapers down to 6.75"W (17 cm) at the base of the purse. It is approximately 7.25"H (18.5 cm) and 5.25"D (13.5 cm) deep at the top of the purse and tapers down to 4"D (10cm) at the bottom.
