This is an interesting and gorgeous Souré basket purse bag with 2 Bamboo handles adorned with colored rhinestones and gold colored trim. It is in mint condition with no signs of wear and tear. The rhinestones highlight the birds eyes and border. All stones are present and shiny. The needlepoint has two small spots, it looks like they forgot to add a stitch but that is all I could find. The inside lable reads "Souré Bag New York" and the lable on the opposite side reads "Made in Japan". There are brass hinges on the handles, 2 leather latches and 4 brass feet at the bottom, none of which shows any wear. The interior consists of a water proof lining material (like Nylon) and is squeeky clean. The bag has one additional slide-in pocket on the interior side wall. The body of the bag measures 11.5" across, 8.25" tall (without handle) and 3.5" wide. Handle drop is 4.5". This is just a gorgeous example of 1950's craftsmanship. Ladies this is arm candy.
